| I found what I needed to know to play Amazing Grace | | Hi... no one responded to my other discussion, but I found what I needed to know to play. I was doing it wrong, but without the chords I can do it now. I do have the chords also but have not practiced them yet, because I am getting used to the change ups on the keyboard with my right hand. For anyone interested in playing the songWhen I put down a letter that is where the thumb goes and the thumb is 1, index is 2 middle is 3 ring is 4 and pinky if 5Amazing Grace goes like this with the right handG 1 4

| | Key letters to Amazing Grace? | | Hello all you piano players and keyboard players... I need a little help. I am trying to learn to play Amazing Grace... Now I won't know how to do the chord changes.. I only know the C chord and the G7 chord and that is it right now. I don't have any music for it... and I couldn't read it if I had the notes, but I do know my hand placements and the key letters.. so if someone can give me the key letters I would appreciate it. Forget the chords right now.. If you want to add the chords fine, but I don't know how to change up with other chords than I just told you about.If you have a really good FREE site I can go to that I can learn more on. The I have gone as far as I can with the free lessons I have already learned.I was trying to pick it out by ear and the first line I got was: G G C C E E E C C A G ... it sounded right.. was I right? I've been picking at the 2nd line but haven't got the letters all down on it yet. I would like to learn the whole song.Thank you all in advance. | |

| How many have seen the Movie "Amazing Grace". | | Wasn't Amazing Grace the greatest movie you have seen in a long time?
I felt like I was part of the movie. The filming was fantasic. The parts were cast superbly and the script was done with taste, humor, sensitivity, and passion. Passion for his belief that slavery should be abolished. He fought hard for his cause. I love the renewal to fight his cause by the love that came into his life. It was done so well all the way through. If you haven't seen it, I challenge you to. It is deeply touching.
