Hello Ashford Students!
Welcome to Ashford's study group on mylot! I am so happy you decided to join me here. This discussion can serve as your introduction. In class we know each other by name, here you have a nickname or screen name. If you would like to share your real name, please do. But if you would like to stay anonymous, that's fine too. Just let us know you are in class with us, or have studied at Ashford in the past. Happy learning all, and welcome to the lot:) Edgy(Stefany)
Wesker's death
Albert Wesker is my most favorite Resident evil Villain, Actually he was must most favorite Villains of all time. He was like my role Model since I was 13 years old. As you see he is my avatar. In Resident evil 1, he 'died' but in Code Veronica, He was revealed to be alive. Now I'm kinda upset that Capcom killed him. I think they should have introduced the villain to replace him before killing him. What upsets me was his death In Resident evil 5, Its lame! There are so many epic ways of having Wesker killed but the idea they came up with was to shoot him with a rocket launcher while he was melting on a volcano. Alexia Ashford's death is more epic.
RESIDENT EVIL ROCKS! Why?;)
For me, This is the CAPCOM's Best Horror Game I've ever played! I remember the first time I played Resident Evil 2 in Playstaion. I was so scared, I do not know where my going to press the buttons on the controller. "YOU DIED"..haha.. I tried again. I tried to press (R1) (I think)..or (R2) and (X)..Then, Claire/Leon Fire! wow. That's amazing. Racoon City the is the City of Crazy Zombies. Damn You Umbrella!:)) Then I tried to play Resident Evil 3, OMG! I didn't make it. Its so difficult for me to kill Nemesis. He's so scary, and huge! And he has a big rocket launcher. I always run away from him everytime he appears to the screen. I don't know what kind of weapon am I going to kill him. My ammos are not enough to kill him. Can you give me some tips on how to KILL Nemesis of Resident Evil 3? I know this is an old game but Still I want to finish. I love Resident Evil!;) Thanks in Advance!Still I was a kid before, my Neighbor invite me to his shop to show his new SEGA DREAMCAST. Then he showed me some of his games, I saw RESIDENT EVIL CODE: VERONICA. I tried to play in his SEGA, so nice! Actually RE C:V is my most Favorite RE Edition Ever! I idolize Claire Redfield so much!:D...
He Is The Man....
After much have been written about the lack of responsibility in people especially those in the civil service and medical professional, I just wondered if we are going to be heading for a disastrous road. I thought that this would be a depressing road ahead. However, after reading this article, I am just so relieved and happy that there is still some civility and committed individuals out there. The article actually relates how this NHS Radiographer, Peter Cartwright took eight-and-a-half hours to go from Ashford in Kent to Guy's Hospital in south London as the snow caused transport chaos. He got a train for part of the 54-mile journey, cadged two lifts and when all else failed, trudged on foot. I further quote: "He caught a train from Ashford to Maidstone and then made his way along the A20 on foot to Borough Green. There he got a lift in a car to Swanley. He then walked to Eltham, south-east London where he was given another lift to Rotherhithe. He then walked to Bermondsey and jumped on one of the few trains on the Jubilee line to London Bridge, before finally arriving at the hospital at 2pm.The journey normally takes him about an hour and a half.Mr...
How idiotic is this? Bang Bang
Headline: 8 year old Christopher Bizilj of Ashford Connecticut accidently shoots himself in the head with an Uzi Machine gun while attending the machine gun shoot and Firearms Expo at the Westfield Sportsmans Club. According to the report the weapon was loaded and prepared by an instucter and handed to this innocent 8 year old boy. It goes on to say that when the boy started shooting the machine gun got away from him and raised up to his head and a round was fired off.I do not know aboout all of you but being a parent I'm outraged. Who in their right mine; instructor or not; would give a young child such a lethal weapon as an Uzi Machine gun? Honestly there should be no one handeling such a weapon unless they are at least 21 These camps may be good for understanding different types of firearms but should only be attended by adults not children. The Westfield Sportsmans club will probably get off with a slap on the wrist saying that all saftey procedures were followed. What are they going to tell the family of Christopher? OOOOPS Sorry it was an accident! Time to change the law so innocent children do not attend these type of events what do you think?
Online College: have you ever gotten your degree online
I am finishing my degree through Ashford University's Online College Program. Have you ever taken your degree online.? Right now I am Intro to Logic. Anyone ever taken this course? What do you think of it?
What did you think about the 3rd Resident Evil movie?
Personally I was disappointed with it. Although I was glad to see Wesker and the Tyrant in it, they just weren't up to scratch. What happened to Jill Valentine and Angela Ashford from the 2nd movie?
Warning: Plastic Bottles Are Dangerous To Your Health?
Do you drink bottled water out of a plastic bottle? Is your water bottle leaching chemicals into your body? What are the suspect and dangerous threats of it?Recently, the abundance of plastic wasn't a pressing health concern despite being on our environment.
