myLot Discussions| Harry Belafonte Collectors | | Has anybody besides me collected Belafonte albums? I first bought the records, Belafonte, and, Belafonte Sings of the Carribean, in 1958. I went on to buy all of his major albums on RCA, except the collaboration with Nana Mouskouri. The only one I bought by him, not on RCA, is Paradise in Gazankulu.
| | Oops! Obama tells another nativity fib lies about father | | It appears Barack Obama Jr may have never been taught thou shall not lie,or is it he was never taught one lie leads to the next lie then another and another?
In Obama's book "Dreams from my father" he tells an elaborate story about his father being air lift out of Kenya to Hawaii, backed by several people including John F. Kennedy, the manuscript Division of the Library of Congress shows Barack Hussein Obama Jr actually lied what he said happen never even took place.
The more Barack Obama Jr is caught in lies the more the American people seek to know who really is Barack Hussein Obama, dose Barack Obama's lies and concealment of his true birth certificate and other legal papers make you wonder who really is Barack Hussein Obama Jr?(Barack Obama Jr lies about father)Official documents catch Barack Obama in another apparent misrepresentation of his life story, this time challenging a claim made during his campaign that his father was part of a JFK-era airlift to bring Kenyan students to the U.S. to study in American universities.WND research indicates Barack Obama Sr. was not brought to Hawaii in 1959 by any airlift of Kenyan students organized by baseball great Jackie...
| | generation gap- anyone with such funny incident?? | | Most of us have come across the words "generation gap" and have experienced it whether be it with our children or our elders - but what I am now relating is probably very funny and may be even you have had similar experiences.
I always like to listen to old good songs from the 1960s - what they call the 'evergreens' and whenever I listened to them my children would turn their face and say that I do not have an ear for good music!!! My favourite songs are of Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Jim Reeves, Pat Boone, Dean Martin, Harry Belafonte, Tom Jones, Connie Francis,( I could name so many but no place here!!!) and many others of that time who used to sing very good slow and fast songs. Any way what I wanted to tell you- I was hearing "Rambling Rose" by Nat King Cole & " Billy Bayou" by Jim Reeves - and as usual my children started making fun of my songs. So I did not say anything but I copied those songs on to a CD and kept it in the car & removed the other music CDs from the car and kept them home, so that when my children took the car out they had no choice but to listen to my choice!! A little mean of me but that was the only way I could get them to listen I hoped. And guess...

| | Che Guevara: racist, murderer, terrorist, homophobe | | "The blacks, those magnificent examples of the African race who have conserved their racial purity by a lack of affinity with washing, have seen their patch invaded by a different kind of slave: The Portuguese.... the black is indolent and fanciful, he spends his money on frivolity and drink; the European comes from a tradition of working and saving which follows him to this corner of America and drives him to get ahead."~Ernesto "Che" GuevaraYesterday, on Beck's program, he began exposing the myths about Communist leaders. I already knew most of what he told people, as my maternal grandfather was an avowed anti-Communist, & frequently spoke against it at length. But as bad as I know Communism (& Communism "lite"--Socialism) is, Glenn managed to open my eyes to how much worse Guevara was than evenI had known. I already knew, thanks to Granddaddy, pretty much what a bunch of lying, bloodthirsty killers Communists are, & Glenn--love him or loathe him--haddone his homework, complete with clips from experts on the history of that evil movement, & documentation of the same. (Just a note: I didnot get that quote from Glenn's program, but from a... | |
