| | Blink 182 a musically talented band? | | I am a huge fan of Blink 182 that recently got back together. Punk rock which has been their style of music is known to not contain much musical talent in the lyrics and music. Tom's voice is very unique and no one can sound the way he does. They know how to get their fans into the music the make by making if fun. Travis is definitely one of the best drummers in the world. They are definitely a fun and unique band that has a lot of following but does this make Blink 182 a Talented and musically gifted band? | |

i did really like them when they were first around. they were really good without even trying, but they were alot younger then..
now they've grown up a bit, angels and airwaves was very grown up music and i didn't like it that much to be honest, although i did like plus 44.
i heard the 'new' blink perform on some tv show, and to be honest.. i didn't really like it. they were singing their old songs, but they had changed them a bit, i think to sound older. but that's what i mean, now they're more mature, that style doesn't really suit them anymore. it's like they've grown out of it..
don't get me wrong, they're all brilliant musicians, they are really talented, but are they too old to be doing that kind of music now? or is it gonna be more like angels and airwaves style?
