| | Isn't It Horrible That Fall Out Boy Went on Hiatus? | | According to Pete Wentz, Fall Out Boy will be taking a hiatus during 2010 and part of 2011. He said that it was because he feels that he is a hindrance to the band because of his marriage to Ashlee Simpson and his tabloid coverage. Over the break, Patrick Stump will be producing more records and Joe Trohman will be getting married. Nobody really knows what Andy Hurley is going to do.And also, some people suspect that Pete and Ashlee may be getting a divorce. In a recent magazine, Pete told them that he is mad that she is spending all of his money. According to Forbes, last year Pete Wentz made 8 million dollars. That is a skyrocket amount compared to 2007 when the whole band together only made 14 million dollars. Overall, maybe the hiatus will be good for the band. Pete can get his marriage back on track and Patrick can become a master producer alongside Jay-Z and Kanye West. On a final note, be sure to look for Pete Wentz's new signature bass, hopefully soon available to the public. It is all black with purple instead of where the red was. | |

| fall out boy | | fall out boy used to be my favourite band ever a few years ago, and i listened to their music all the time. as time went on and i got older, i kinda just grew out of them a bit, but now i'm starting to get into them all over again.
my query is, i really liked their last album, Infinity On High, but alot of people i know hated it, and said they'd gone all commercial. this happened with Green Day too, when they bought out American Idiot. i thought that album was really good, but alot of people hated it.
what did you guys think (if you've heard these two albums, of course) were they too commercial or were they simply just..growing up? | |
