| Ringo Starr has his own star on the walk of fame. | | He just got his star today, joining John and George, now only Paul is without a star and Im sure he'll buy himself one very soon. Now Im wondering what Ringo will do about all the emails he'll be receiving now. I remember a while back, he asked people to NOT email him anymore. Maybe he was in a deep depression and now he's out of it since he just came out with a new CD?What do you think about Ringo getting his own star? (no pun intended lol) | |
| | Ringo Starr will be 70 this summer. | | I saw that in the newspaper last week and I was shocked! I didn't think he was going to be that old! Ringo sure doesn't look like it! Ringo looks like he is in his 50's not turning 70! Wow! Paul McCarthy isn't far behind! | |

| What would the world be like if Ringo Starr didn't replace Pete Best? | | Beatles will always be Beatles, ringo starr will always be ringo starr. He brings such joy to the super group and solid drum beats that makes the Beatles sound like the Beatles. What would it be like if ringo starr didn't replace Pete Best? My answer will be, things could have been different and the Beatles might weaken and not take the world like they did decades ago. I have a DVD entitled: The Best of the Beatles. It showcases the relationship of Pete Best to the band, how he got sacked and his story after the Beatles. There you can hear his versions of the songs popularized by Ringo's drum beats. To give you an example, the drum line for Ticket to Ride has always been ahead of its time, his version is somewhat just ordinary... sorry Pete this is just my opinion, you did really well in the early Beatles. If you listen to the recordings of the Beatles from 1965 to 1969, you can hear drum lines that you really gave you chills to your spine like Ringo's drum line in Tomorrow Never Knows from Revolver, In my life, Rubbersoul to name a few. | | Ringo Starr: I've got to get fans out of my life. | | Former Beatle Ringo Starr has told fans he will no longer sign autographs. Starr says he will throw away fan mail after October 20. Drummer says, with love, that he has too much to do. I saw this article and found it surprising. Other than having "too much to do" it doesn't really give a reason. What do you think about it? | |
|
| Do you think Ringo Starr is overrated? | | I love the beatles but I've never really understood why to this day people flock to see Ringo Starr's bands perform. I personally don't think he was as talented as the other three members of the band. | |

| Ringo Starr | | He is probably one of the most underrated drummers ever. Maybe because he was a beatle, and people expected TOO much of him.
What do you thing of him as a musician and as a person? | |
| | Tombstone | | What is your favorite part of the movie? Mine is where Doc Holiday kills Johnny Ringo. Love that scene. | |

| George Harrison | | I personally think George Harrison was the best of the Beatles, I know that many people will disagree and that is fine. | |
| | The Beatles.... Ringo Starr...... The Funny One.... | | To many people, the Beatles revolve in the names John Lennon and Paul McCartney, the two people who dominated the song writing in the band and George Harrison, the quiet one who write songs alone and fought his way to make more cuts to the albums they make. The band who started the revolution, who wrote the sound track of our lives. One day, I was in a dental clinic, while waiting for my turn, I read american tabloids lying in a basket and an article caught my attention. It was the time when George Harrison died. An article about Ringo Starr. It says that Ringo's contribution to the Beatles are so little and maybe when he dies, the people would remember him as a member of the Beatles and nobody will give a damn. You see, when John Lennon died, people gathered outside the Dakota apartment, singing songs, crying and praying, screaming and angered by his death.... that's how John Lennon meant to his fans and the same goes for George. There two remaining Beatles, Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr and the same might go when Paul dies. Ringo is an essential part of the Beatles history. There came a time when people noticed Ringo for his funny acts that seemed natural to sad eyed... | |
